Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee has decided to postpone the VII Baltic Heart Failure and XIV Arrhythmias Meeting: “Focus on Women‘s Heart“ to 2021, September 24-25.
The Meeting will present a great opportunity for colleagues from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and other countries to meet each other and experts of the European Society of Cardiology and share the latest achievements, with a special attention on women issues in the most prevalent cardiac disorders.
We are delighted to continue the traditions of biannual Baltic Heart Failure and Arrhythmia Lietuva meetings and are expecting more than 400 participants – cardiologists, family doctors and physicians of other specialties to attend.
Sex differences now came to the centre stage. Not only prevalence, susceptibility and presentation of the diseases in women may be specific, but also physicians‘ perception and decision-making frequently vary, resulting in disparate management and outcomes.
We are inviting leading experts from Baltics, Europe and other countries, to cover a wide range of topics including the diagnosis, management, and state-of-the-art treatment for heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, cardiomyopathy, with a focus on women’s cardiovascular disease.
The goal of the Meeting is for delegates to return to their practice equipped with the latest evidence base and practical information to improve patient outcomes.
We sincerely invite You to participate in the Meeting and to experience outstanding scientific as well as social programme, with a focus on women’s heart.
We look forward to meeting You in Vilnius in September 2021!
